A summary of the experience of visiting Beauty Garden, which was good value for money with tender meat and generous composition

Due to the situation in the last two years, the number of times I meet with friends has decreased considerably, and I was sorry that social distancing restrictions were gradually relaxed.

It is difficult for a friend to go with me, so I searched for a place near Suyu Station to go, and I looked for a place that sells meat but where you can eat comfortably.

Fortunately, I found a place that meets the conditions, and it is a beauty garden that can be reached by walking only 300 meters from Suyu Station (Subway Line 4).

Although it is not far from Suyu Station, it is not on the roadside, so it can be a little difficult to find if you are not good at finding alleys.

If it is difficult to find the store in the alleyway, I took pictures of the way below, so if you look at the pictures below, it will be of some help.

The interior of the store was generally warm, and the food was good.

If you order a set menu, it is a reasonable amount, so if you have a hard time choosing a menu, we recommend that you order a set menu that corresponds to the number of people who visited without worrying about it.

It's not unfriendly, but there are people who are not friendly and there are people who are quite friendly, so depending on the person serving, you may like or dislike the service.

The taste is not bad, but considering the amount of meat included, the price is not cheap. When looking at the price of a single item, it is higher than the price for a typical pork portion, so if you order it separately, it may cost more than you think.

Then, based on my experience of going to Beauty Garden, I will start reviewing the menu and how to get there.

How to get to Beauty Garden

For the route from Suyu Station on Subway Line 4, you can use the directions on your phone by looking at the photos taken below or by clicking on the map image.

Beauty Garden is located within a 5-minute walk from Suyu Station (Subway Line 4).

When you get off the subway, go to exits 7 and 8.

After turning left in the direction of exit 7 or 8

Go to exit 7 on the left.

After going up the stairs to exit 7

Go straight about 20m in the direction of the exit,

Turn right into the alleyway.

Follow the road down about 80m.

Even if there is an intersection in the middle, do not worry and go straight past the intersection.

After passing the intersection, go straight for about 90 meters.

Go into the alley on the right at the three-way intersection where you can see Myeongnang Hot Dog.

After entering the alley, go straight for about 80 meters.

You can see the Beauty Garden in front of the end of the road you were going straight ahead.

Beauty Garden's menu pork ribs, pomegranate marinated ribs

The food we ordered is a set menu for two.

The set for 2 includes 2 servings of pork ribs, 1 serving of seasoned pomegranate ribs, and 1 serving of clams miso soup.

Each dish is sold individually, but it is cheaper to order a set that matches the number of people in terms of price.

Pictured below is the basic configuration on the table.

A front plate, chopsticks, spoon and a paper cup for drinking are set on the table, and water is brought.

This is a side dish that comes out when you order the set menu for two.

When I visit again afterward, even when 3 people go and order a set for 3 people, it has the same composition, so the side dishes don't seem to change depending on the menu.

The pictures below are when I ordered a set for 2 people.

It is served in a rectangular iron pan, and in addition to the meat, it contains corn, sausage, shrimp, and various vegetables.

Even when I ordered it as a 3-piece set, there was only a difference in the amount of the same composition.

Judging from the reviews posted in other places, it seems that the first time you order it, it is cooked from then on, so it came out warm overall.

It seems to have changed to a method that cooks first and then heats it up when you order it, probably because there are a lot of customers now. So, looking at reviews from people who visited the store in the early days of its opening, it seems that the reviews are not very good.

However, it wasn't bad because it came out warm enough to feel the warmth, and after eating it for a while, it could be reheated on a gas stove.

You can think of clam clam soybean paste soup as soup with soybean paste.

Basically, it tastes close to miso soup and contains clam and rice, so it is a snack that people who drink soju will like.

It has a slightly pungent taste, so it feels like you can neutralize the greasy taste of eating meat.

However, the size of the ttukbaegi is not large, and it feels like there is not enough rice in it, so it was a bit disappointing to see only the amount.

If you look at the second page of the menu, they are sold separately, and the price is 10,000 won.

The amount that comes out is not much different from what is included in the set, so it is better to ask for a lot of rice when you first order.

The menu board has three printed sheets of paper pinned to the clipboard.

After my first visit, I visited again and the menu design was different from the picture below.

When I looked at the menu boards with different designs, they looked so different that I was mistaken for the price or the missing menu because the composition was different.

(Of course, after looking at it slowly again, I found out that nothing has changed.. 😉)

There are not many kinds of menus, and the letters are printed in large letters to make it easy to read.

But because of the clip fixed at the top, it was inconvenient to see the pages one by one.

The menu sold as a set on the second page is also sold individually, so you can order and eat what you want.

However, if you calculate the amount, it is cheaper to order them as a set rather than individually.

business hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 12:00 to 23:00, Friday and Saturday from 12:00 to 24:00.

In front of the store entrance, there are chairs that can wait when there are a lot of people.

There is an awning above, so even if it rains, you can wait without getting hit by the rain.

Inside the store entrance, there are chairs that can sit and wait for about 3 people in front of the counter.

In the photo below, you can see the entrance to the kitchen on the left, but it is not an open kitchen.

At the entrance to the kitchen, wines from the store are displayed.

In the middle of the shop, there is a long table that can be used as a group seat as shown in the photo below.

Currently, due to social distancing, partitions are processed in units of 4 people, but once the distance is lifted, it seems that it will be possible to accommodate a group visit.

The interior uses a low color temperature lamp as if using an incandescent lamp, giving it a warm feeling.

The photo below shows the Han Chinese wall inside the store.

The wall is decorated with bricks, and the interior is decorated with paintings and neon signs on the wall.

Visiting Beauty Garden

You can't go without alcohol when you eat meat, right?

So, I ordered a bottle of beer and soju with a mouthful.

There are condiments and side dishes for eating meat and shrimp, so you can eat them in a variety of ways.

You can eat it with a seasoning that looks like ssamjang, or you can eat it with chives or vegetables.

The meat is seasoned to some extent, so you don't need to eat it with salt.

You can think of the taste as sweet and salty like seasoned pork ribs with soy sauce and sugar.

At first glance, sake looks like miso soup, but if you put a spoon deep in it and open a spoonful, you can see that there are clams with the rice as shown in the photo below.

Zucchini, tofu, and cheongyang pepper are also included, so I thought it would be a good combination to eat with meat.

This is a picture after two people ate a lot, but there was hardly any left except for the seasoning.

If you order a set of 2 and eat it, it means that it is just the right amount for two people to eat, right?

Serving can feel different depending on the person serving, so it is better not to go expecting friendly service.

This is a place I visited twice because of the kindness of the person who greeted me on my first visit and the food of good taste.

The taste of the food is good, but the price is a bit on the high side, so if you want to eat a lot at a reasonable price, it's a vague place, but I think it's a good restaurant if you don't care too much about the price.

There are a lot of customers, so if you don't visit early (between 5 and 6 in the evening), you may have to wait, so it's a good idea to plan your visit.
